We have designed this radiator with the triple pass design in order to maximize the cooling ability of the core. If you are not familiar with the term triple pass, it refers to the flow of the coolant as it is passing through the radiator. It starts at the top and flows across the top third of the radiator, then drops down and passes across the middle third of the radiator, and finally passes across the bottom third and out. We have found this design adds 25-30% more cooling ability. Also, we have made this radiator 2 1/4" thick which is half again as thick as the original.
Coupled with the added thickness and wider core, this radiator will cool 50-60% better than the original, which will make a huge difference in keeping your rig cool. The stock radiator is a single pass design and is not as efficient.
Mudder Core (10-11 fins per inch) vs. OEM core (14-15 fins per inch)

We build two versions and the difference is in the radiator core. The "Mudder" core has a 10-11 fins per inch fin count. This is greatly reduced over the OEM radiator which is 14-15 fins per inch thus, making it able to remain cleaner and clean out easier.
The photo to the left shows a comparison of the OEM core (left side), to our mudder core (right side). As you can see there is a substantial difference in fin and tube spacing. The Mudder core eliminates the need to relocate the factory radiator, it can stay in the stock location.
Our other version is what we call our high efficiency version. It is designed for riding conditions like sand and dry trails.
This kit comes with a new SPAL fan (has original connector so no splicing or rewiring) and full shroud. We made this modification in order to get a rugged strong design along with a factory fit.
