This is one of our most popular styles it is a 1 1/2" tube alumunim brased core, on most factory cores the tubes are 7/8" to 1".The tube spacing on our core is 3/8" and the spacing on the factory cores is generaly 1/2".This does'nt seem like a big differance till you do the math you have increased the thickness by 50% + and the number of tubes is increased by 25% +.

This is an explanation as to the fuction and purpose of a triple pass radiator design. In this particular drawing (Yamaha Rhino Radiator) the inlet on the left in this drawing is positioned below a flow diverter (for ease of installation) and then goes up 90 degrees through the diverter to start the flow of coolant at the top portion of the radiator core, where then the coolant flows across and down to the other diverter, then down and back across and out thus being a triple pass design.
